Purdue initiatives

In 2007, the Provost appointed a task force chaired by James L. Mullins, Dean of Libraries. Members of this task force worked to educate campus researchers about compliance with the NIH open-access mandate, and hosted a forum to discuss the impact of issues in scholarly communication on promotion and tenure at Purdue on May 6, 2008.
